Moving Upwards and Onwards
Let's be honest: moving is a colossal pain and no matter how excited you are to get to your new home, it doesn't change the fact that trying to move on your own is nearly impossible. This is how I felt a few months back, when I packed up my stuff to move from one from coast to the other. I thought about doing it on my own (with the help of my friends and family), but it was too much of a burden on other people and at the end of the day I just had too much stuff to really make that work. I was happy to find a moving company in Alexandria VA. Not only did they help me to pack up and secure some of my bigger items, they arrived at my place even before I did! When I got there, they got right to work bringing everything into my new home and unwrapping it in front of me to show that nothing had been damaged on the way there. I couldn't imagine the move without their help!

Home Sweet Home
People weren't kidding when they told us moving would be stressful. I never realized how much stuff we had accumlated over the years until it was time to pack it all up into boxes and move it across the country! We researched all of our options for moving our things in a safe and efficient manner, and we were so grateful when we finally stumbled upon a moving company in Washington DC. They wrapped up all of our belongings so carefully, and did a much better job handling large items than we could have ever done on our own. When we arrived at our new home, the truck was there waiting for us to be unloaded by their awesome crew! I'm so glad we found these guys, I don't know how we would have made the move without them!

Staying Cool During My Summer Move
I was so excited when I finally signed the lease to my new
place, but quickly realized how much work I would have to do to be ready for
the move in two weeks! I started to brainstorm which of my friends I could
recruit to help me transport my boxes and furniture. Not only did I have a ton
of stuff to move, but the summer weather had been so hot that it seemed like no
one was willing to help. Eventually, I got tired of bugging my friends. This is
when I decided to do some research into local professional movers in Washington DC. I found a great company that I could trust. The day of the move was so
quick, easy, and effortless that I was able to stay cool and put all the
worries and stress of moving in the past! I’ll never move without professional
help again!

Helping Friends Move... Last Time
I helped a
couple of my friends move last weekend, and boy, I think that’ll be the last
time! I’m absolutely beat today, and have a bunch of scrapes and bruises to
prove it. I’m moving apartments in a few months and was thinking of having
friends help out, but now I think I’ll look for Chevy Chase MD mover that can help! My friends and I struggled with the bigger furniture pieces, and
we realized that movers do this all the time! They have a system, and
equipment. And we also realized that they can look at a door frame and know how
to fit that couch through it, instead of our trial-and-error method. Yup.
Movers it is.

Moving to other side of town
It seems almost impossible to move
while you work full time and across town. My friend and I both work full time
and usually get home around 6pm. We both work in Bethesda MD but live in
Alexandria VA and have decided to move to Bethesda so the commute isn’t as long
in the morning. Luckily, we found a moving company in Bethesda MD that helps us move on a tight budget,
plus was able to work with us on scheduling. We were able to move 5 items that
we would never be able to lift ourselves, for only $195! They moved our couch,
television, dining room table, and both of our beds. Also once we got to our
new apartment, they worked on an hourly basis and stayed longer than we thought
we needed them! Unfortunately, some of our stuff wasn’t going to fit in our new
apartment so we needed to store it somewhere while our parents took the trip to
Maryland to come pick it up. This company allowed us to store it at their storage
facility for $50 a month. We ended up moving a two bedroom apartment for less
than $500 dollars and we couldn’t be happier. We now have a reliable moving
company who also helps move people across the country too!

Tough Work Even for a Local Move
My friend is moving in to Bethesda, MD, and has been looking
for a local moving company to help make the trip less stressful. It’s about an hour
away from where she lives now. Her current plan is to rent a truck and move
everything with a group of friends, but I think the amount of things she has is
slowly dawning on her. She started looking for a moving company she could use
both in her current town, and in Bethesda, to compare pricing. I’m with her on
hiring a company; it’s hard work to do it on your own!

Downsizing
I was moving from Alexandria VA to Arlington VA and I needed to find a moving company in Arlington VA. My
biggest concern was making sure that my things were packed correctly. I was
packing for days and it seemed like I had barely made a dent in my things.
Downsizing was going to be difficult, I already knew but moving from a 3
bedroom home to a 2 bedroom apartment, I needed to bring half as much stuff. I
was looking to see if there were movers that would specifically help me with
the packing aspect of moving and I couldn’t find anyone who would only help pack and provide labor rather than do
the physical moving from one home to the other. Finally, after weeks of
research and not much more packing done, I saw that there were a few companies
who offered different kinds of moving options: they can help you pack, you can
pack, and they can just physically move your things. It was a dream come true,
I am glad that I didn’t give up researching companies for my big move!
