Big City

When I came to the city for college, I never anticipated how much I would love it here and that I would plan to stay for life. As graduation rolled around, I took a look around my college apartment and realized that I had accumulated a lot of stuff over the four years I had been here. Once I found the place I was going to be living, I knew that I would need some help moving all of my belongings from one place to the other. The small stuff was easy, but I also had quite a few pieces of furniture that I wouldn't be able to fit in my car. Finding a reliable moving company in Washington DC took some time, but I am so happy with my decision. They were careful to pack up my things safely and move them carefully from one apartment to the next. They even helped me to get some of my stuff set up and moved my furniture around for me when I decided I didn't like the way it was set up! They were so helpful, that the next time I need to move (which I hope won't be for a while!) they are definitely the only people I would call.

Moving Upwards and Onwards

Let's be honest: moving is a colossal pain and no matter how excited you are to get to your new home, it doesn't change the fact that trying to move on your own is nearly impossible. This is how I felt a few months back, when I packed up my stuff to move from one from coast to the other. I thought about doing it on my own (with the help of my friends and family), but it was too much of a burden on other people and at the end of the day I just had too much stuff to really make that work. I was happy to find a moving company in Alexandria VA. Not only did they help me to pack up and secure some of my bigger items, they arrived at my place even before I did! When I got there, they got right to work bringing everything into my new home and unwrapping it in front of me to show that nothing had been damaged on the way there. I couldn't imagine the move without their help!

Home Sweet Home

People weren't kidding when they told us moving would be stressful. Staying Cool During My Summer Move

I was so excited when I finally signed the lease to my new place, but quickly realized how much work I would have to do to be ready for the move in two weeks! I started to brainstorm which of my friends I could recruit to help me transport my boxes and furniture. Not only did I have a ton of stuff to move, but the summer weather had been so hot that it seemed like no one was willing to help. Eventually, I got tired of bugging my friends. This is when I decided to do some research into local professional movers in Washington DC. I found a great company that I could trust. The day of the move was so quick, easy, and effortless that I was able to stay cool and put all the worries and stress of moving in the past! I’ll never move without professional help again!
